Kainga Maturi meets Deaf Blacks!

On Friday 20th November, Kainga Maturi visited Kelston Deaf Education Centre to say “Farewell and Good Luck” to the Deaf Blacks.

The Deaf Blacks is a rugby team with Deaf players from all over New Zealand.

The next day, the Deaf Blacks went to England. They will play three test matches against the English Deaf Rugby team in November.

The games will be live-streamed at https://livestream.com/EnglandDeafRugby on the following date/times (NZ times):

  • 1st Test: Sunday 5th Nov at 5am
  • 2nd Test: Thursday 9th Nov at 7.30am
  • 3rd Test: Monday 13th Nov at 2am

Learning New Zealand Sign Language
