Te Kei o Te Waka Students Rocked Kelifest!

Mark Siliko performing the ‘Taualuga’ solo performance.

Kia orana All,

It was a proud moment to watch all students in Te Kei o Te Waka take on leadership roles in the different cultural performances.  In the Samoan group Mark was amazing doing the ‘taualuga’ and Mathius lead the Cook Island group with the ‘turou’.  It was an amazing Kelifest and the energy and enjoyment of the performers in the different cultural groups were on point.

For those students who did not perform but were helpers on the day thank you so much.  A special mention to Loto’a who helped as a stage hand and Nadia who supported the Cook Island Group.
