Enrol with Us

Please use our online enrolment form to enrol your child for 2025.

To complete the form you will need to upload:

  • A copy of the NZ birth certificate / valid NZ passport / Resident Visa / Citizenship Certificate / student visa

  • Proof of address - power bill, phone bill, bank statement etc.

If you are unable to complete the online enrolment form please contact our school office for support or for a paper copy.

New Enrolments

All enrolments need to be completed using our online enrolment form.

School Zone

Kelston Intermediate currently operates under an Enrolment Zone. To find out what this means for your child please read our Enrolment Zone information.

Bilingual Class Enrolment

Families wishing to enrol their child in a Bilingual Class can do so on the online enrolment form. Information about our Bilingual Pathways can be found below:

Enrolment Zone

Kelston Intermediate currently operate under a zoning system which creates a boundary where some addresses in our local area may be deemed in zone or out of zone. A map of the zoning area and a list of addresses that will be deemed in zone according to the new boundary can be found below.

 

If we have a large number of enrolments we will move to a priority system for enrolments based on the following:
 

  • First Priority will be given to students who have been accepted for enrolment in the following special programmes run by the school and approved by the Secretary for Education.
     

    • Nga Kakano ka puawai i te reo​

    • Ulimasao Samoan Bilingual Unit

    • Fakatoukatea Tongan Bilingual Unit
       

  • Second Priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of current students.

  • Third Priority will be given to applicants who are siblings of former students.

  • Fourth Priority will be given to any applicant who is a child of a former student of the school.

  • Fifth Priority will be given to any applicant who is either a child of an employee of the board of the school or a child of a member of the board of the school.

  • Sixth Priority will be given to all other applicants.
